Steinhardt Pesick & Cohen lands on U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers© 2019 list of “Best Law Firms” with Tier 1 rankings

Birmingham, Mich. – Nov. 6, 2018 – Steinhardt Pesick & Cohen, P.C. (SPC), a Michigan-based law firm specializing in eminent domain and condemnation, land use, commercial property tax appeals and commercial real estate litigation, has been included as a tier-one law firm on the U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers© 2019 list of “Best Law Firms.”  

In the metropolitan rankings, SPC earned a Tier 1 in the practice area of eminent domain and condemnation law and a Tier One in Real Estate Law.  The metropolitan rankings encompass 122 major U.S. markets, including Detroit. Among its many high profile cases, SPC is currently working with several Detroit commercial business owners displaced by the building of the Gordie Howe International Bridge. SPC also litigated the largest eminent domain verdict in Michigan history for a client-owned Detroit Riverfront property.

To be eligible for a 2019 ranking, a law firm must have at least one lawyer recognized in the 24th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America list for that particular location and specialty. SPC shareholders Jerry Pesick and H.
